After successful readings, Barnwell Entertainers are pleased to announce our 2026 production will be Ladies Down Under.
Amanda Whittington’s hilarious sequel brings back a cast of Entertainers characters from a decade ago who after finding fortune in Ladies’ Day, set off for Australia to leave their working-class lives behind for sunshine and luxury. However, the trip quickly turns into a journey of self-discovery where they face the realities of their transformed lives.
Director Martin Picken will shortly cast the various roles, having the added luxury of more new members this year keen to tread the boards.
Performance dates are 25th, 26th and 27th of November at Barnwell Village Hall and ticketing details will be announced later in the year.
