Synopsis

The riotous comedy, set in a sleepy Suffolk village, centres on the hilarious collision between the worlds of action movie blockbusters and a local am-dram group. Trying to save their theatre from property developers, the group engage a fading Hollywood film star to raise their profile and boost ticket sales. Featuring a diverse and eclectic cast of village characters who each have to deal with the former A lister’s vanity, insecurity and monstrous ego whilst still trying to produce one of Shakespeare’s classics.
